We're the IT team for people who'd rather not have one.
Moon6 looks after the technology that small and growing UK businesses run on. We're not trying to be the biggest IT company in the country. We're trying to be the one our clients never have to think about.
The name
Why we called it Moon6.
The moon is the least dramatic thing in the sky. It works overnight, it never announces itself, and you almost never look up at it. Everything stays in orbit anyway.
That is exactly what good IT feels like. When it is done properly, you stop noticing it entirely.
The six is the six things every business needs someone to own: devices, email, data, network, security and people. Get those right and the rest tends to look after itself.

Four things we won't compromise on.
Plain English, always
If we explain something and you are still nodding politely, we have failed. Every report, quote and email we send should make sense to someone who does not work in IT. Jargon is usually a way of avoiding a straight answer.
Tell you before you ask
You should not have to chase us to find out whether the backup ran or the project is on track. If something has gone wrong, you will hear it from us first, along with what we are doing about it.
The right answer, even when it costs us
If you do not need the upgrade, we will tell you. If a cheaper product does the job, we will recommend it. We take no commission from vendors, so there is nothing pulling our advice in another direction.
Earn it every month
Long contracts protect the supplier, not the customer. We work on thirty days' notice because we would rather be worth keeping than difficult to leave.

A 30-minute conversation and a look at what you have. No sales pitch, no jargon. You get a short written summary of what is working, what is not, and what it would cost to fix — whether or not you go on to use us.

We take over
We handle the handover from your current provider, document everything, roll out monitoring and security, and introduce ourselves to your team. Most businesses are fully moved across inside two weeks.

You stop thinking about IT
Your team calls us directly when they need something. We fix most things before anyone notices. You get one fixed invoice a month and a clear view of what we have been doing.

Where we're probably not the right fit.
Every IT company's website says they're honest. Here's us being specific about it.
We are not the cheapest
There is always someone who will quote less. Usually they are pricing for a reactive service where you pay again every time something breaks. If price is the only thing that matters, we are probably not the right fit.
We do not support everything
We are very good at Microsoft 365, Windows, networking and the software most small businesses run. If you depend on something specialised, we will tell you honestly whether we can support it or whether you need the vendor.
We will not scare you into buying
Cyber security matters, and we take it seriously. But we will not put a threat map on a slide to sell you something. We will show you your actual gaps and what each one costs to close.
